Big Backpack Giveaway 

Williamson County students can accept giveaway backpacks filled with school reserve during a Big Backpack Giveaway on Saturday.

The eventuality takes place 4-6 p.m. during Liberty Elementary. Children are compulsory to be benefaction to accept backpacks. The event includes music, food and fun for a whole family.

Backpacks and reserve also will be distributed during smaller giveaways during a following locations: Fairview High School from 10 a.m. to noon, and Bethesda United Methodist Church in Thompson’s Station from 4 to 6 p.m.

About 2,400 backpacks will be distributed to students while reserve last.

Shop with a Cop 

Williamson County military officers will assistance families with back-to-school selling on Sunday.

The Morris Heithcock Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #41, in Franklin, will reason its annual Shop with a Cop eventuality during a Franklin Wal-Mart from 7 to 9 a.m.
