Ready to Learn, a module during Helping Hands Hawaii, will be collecting new propagandize reserve to discharge to low-income and homeless students from Jun 1 to Jul 31.
Cash, check and propagandize supply donations will be supposed during a Healing Hands Hawaii bureau during 2100 N. Nimitz Highway weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. American Savings Bank branches will also offer as collection sites from Jun 14 to Jul 14.
Donations are used to emanate kits that embody a many common equipment found on back-to-school supply lists. The kits are valued during about $10. Items indispensable include: one-subject turn notebooks, 24-count crayons, three-prong portfolios, 4-ounce glue bottles, blunt children’s scissors, ballpoint pens, calculators, combination books, erasers, folder paper, rulers and backpacks. Monetary donations can also be done on Helping Hands Hawaii’s website by clicking a PayPal link.
To request for a Ready to Learn program, students in kindergarten to class 12 contingency be endorsed by a box manager during a participating mention agency, including Catholic Charities, The Salvation Army, Child Family Service, Parents Children Together, and a state Department of Human Services. The deadline for authorised families to request for a module is Jun 23.
