"Repack a Backpack" helps kids wanting propagandize reserve – WBTW

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – An eventuality was hold Sunday where relatives and children could restock on propagandize reserve as good as suffer party from internal groups. 

The third annual “Repack a Backpack” was hold during a Barnes Street Activity Center in Florence. Free backpacks were given to a initial 500 children.

This year’s eventuality was hosted by BlueChoice HealthPlan Medicaid and enclosed giveaway supplies, humanities and crafts, a print counter for a children, dance group performances, and games. 

Also in assemblage were vendors pity resources, tips and health screenings. 

“We feel it is really critical to make certain a kids have all their essential needs for school. A lot of times during this time of a year kids are out of their propagandize reserve so we’d like to give behind to a community” pronounced Senior Outreach Specialist Melody Clark.

Other “Repack a Backpack” events were hold in Charleston, Columbia, Orangeburg, and Lake City, with another planed for Mar 25th in Greenville. Each eventuality has seen hundreds of people in attendance including 150 during a Florence event.
