Fifth annual ‘Shop with a Cop’ gives 100 kids clothes, propagandize supplies

DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) — New folders, new pencils and new clothes. It can be sparkling to go selling for new back-to-school items. But with a cost of behind to propagandize augmenting any year, it can also be a daunting time for relatives who can’t means those items.

That’s because ‘Shop with a Cop’ is such a service for some parents.

The module is put on by a Dubuque Police Protective Association. This year they lifted adequate income to give $240 to 100 Dubuque kids for propagandize reserve and clothes.

Richard Grimes and his 3 boys were some of a 100 to be enclosed in a program.

Grimes was selected for a module by assembly a Dubuque military officer.

“He said, ‘I would adore to do something for your family, we wish to suggest we for a Shop with a Cop program,'” Grimes said.

He’s regulating a $240 to get any of his 3 sons, Jacob, Brandon and Blake, propagandize clothes.

He said, “we got some winter stuff, let’s see, some hats and gloves, and kind of essentials for kids.”
